The scaffolding for this project was fully designed so that it was fit for use for the intended scope. A 7-board-wide crash deck was provided on various elevations of the building, which was double-boarded with a monoflex sheeting between the boards. To ensure no debris fell to the ground below. The scaffold was fully netted and protective padding was applied to all uprights and horizontals to ensure the safety of the students in close proximity. 

As the building is fully occupied, multiple site surveys were completed. Thus ensuring that the scaffold placement did not impact on the students who live within the complex. A robust task-specific risk assessment was raised for the project. We ensured that all locations were barriered off to prevent unwanted access to the working location
